Dr. Catie Sanders
Hi there! I’m the Owner & treating Physical Therapist at Abide! I graduated from Shenandoah University with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2014 and have been working in the field in various capacities for over 10 years. I am a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES). My career began in outpatient orthopedics, but I realized as I became a mom how I was missing an integral piece to treating the whole person. So my interest shifted towards women’s health. I began seeing a repeating pattern with my clients; women experiencing diastasis recti, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor pain, and more reported their symptoms’ onset during or just after pregnancy. Many women had been dealing with these issues for years (or even decades!) before realizing they could and should get help.
